The Cart-Away Supply® Franchise Award Process

Free Construction Report with Request for InformationCart-Away Supply is focused on leading prospective franchisees to long term business success. Please do not be offended if, after review of your application and/or interviews by members of our team, we elect not to award a franchise to you. Our success hinges on choosing only the very top prospects to partner with us at Cart-Away Supply. Like a marriage, we are contemplating a long-term commitment. We will be highly selective and will work hard to ensure that we choose only Franchisees who will strengthen our team.

The following process is designed for us to learn about each other in a non-threatening manner which progresses from one step to the next. We have outlined the process to help you understand what we are doing and why it is important to us. This is far too important to us and to you to take any shortcuts.

1. Initial contact –
    a. We send copy of our mini brochure to the Candidate

2. Candidate calls with questions or emails for more information
    a. We send full brochure

3. Increased Interest – Candidate has read the full brochure and still wants more information – makes call or sends more detailed email to Cart-Away Supply.

a. CAS Franchise Expert speaks on the phone with Candidate.

b. Candidate is asked to describe desired territory.

c. Candidate is asked to take personality profile and forward results.

4. Candidate sends results of Personality Profile and territory choice information to Cart-Away Supply. (About 30% of candidates return a personality profile)

5. Candidate receives demographic review of the general territory in which he hopes to operate a Cart-Away Supply Store. (About 25% of Candidates get a Demographic Review)

6. Candidate is asked to fill out and return a full application for a Cart-Away Supply Franchise. This application does not commit either party to the other but it allows Cart-Away Supply to know critical things about the candidate’s financial capability, his or her motivation, experience, and business capability to operate a Cart-Away Supply Store. (About 20% of candidates make full application)

7. Cart-Away Supply Franchise Team meets to review the candidate’s application/invite candidate to a Day of Discovery face to face meeting in McMinnville.
(About 10% of candidates are invited for a Day of Discovery in McMinnville.)

8. Candidate comes to McMinnville at his or her own cost to spend a half day of intensive discovery about the franchise offering and to interview the Cart-Away Supply team and to be interviewed by them.

a. Candidate is given a full Uniform Franchise Offering Circular/Franchise
Disclosure Document. This is to the Candidate as the franchise application
is to Cart-Away Supply. It puts on paper the financial and other
information needed to help make this important decision.

b. Both Cart-Away Supply and the Candidate sign that the UFOC/FDD has
been given to the candidate and each keeps a copy of the receipt document.

c. An appointment within 7 days is set for the a telephone conversation
between the candidate and Cart-Away Supply to thoroughly discuss the
    UFOC/FDD

9. Cart-Away Supply contacts Candidate within 10 days of the Day of Discovery meeting to inform candidate of the team’s decision. About 2% of original candidates are typically awarded franchises.

10. If Candidate is ready to start a Cart-Away Supply Store, he or she signs the Franchise agreement and returns it to Cart-Away Supply. Typically, the Candidate has 60 days from the date of offer unless there is another candidate for the territory waiting. Signing the Franchise Agreement starts the (typically) 16 week process leading to the opening of your Cart-Away Supply Store.
