Franchise Support Team –
Cart-Away Supply®

One of the greatest assets of the
Cart-Away Supply® franchise system is the
team that has been assembled to support franchisees. These individuals are
seasoned professionals who know this business from the ground up. They have
strengths that are built upon training, field experience and real-world
business smarts. Each have cut their teeth in the trailer-based concrete
industry and have moved the Cart-Away
® brand from a virtual unknown to the
top of the industry in 7 short years. There is a knowledge base in
retailing, construction, marketing and manufacturing. There is “behind the
counter” experience in serving concrete, landscaping and building material
customers. The team has worked for years with rental operators to maximize
the benefits of adding a ready-mix profit center.
Not only do franchisees benefit from the management team they also have the
knowledge base of other operators.
Cart-Away Supply management has spent years
interviewing and cataloging the best practices from many of the most
successful trailer-based operators. From this pool of knowledge and
experience we have created an exclusive Operations Manual. The manual
is based on the best practices gleaned from these sources and assists
franchisees in understanding how to make a
Cart-Away Supply location work.
It is impossible to introduce you to all of the Cart-Away Concrete
customers, but we can give you some details on the
Cart-Away Supply
management team.
Scott Crist , Franchise Specialist

Scott
Crist is the most experienced trailer-based ready-mix expert in the
business! We have nicknamed him the “Sultan of Cement”. He started his
career in trailer-based concrete at the age of 20 by operating an old
Sunrise plant and tub trailers. And over the next 18-years Scotty operated
everything from antiquated wet auger systems to the modern dry-loading
mixing trailer plants.
He is knowledgeable about every type of concrete plant used to load
trailers. Scotty’s background includes years behind the counter at a
Landscape Center as manager. He has hooked up concrete trailers, cleaned up
and repaired everything that could possibly have broken on a concrete
system. When you have an operational question, Scotty can understand it from
your prospective and help you get going fast.
Of course Scotty is also a sales person. For the past 7-years has had the
responsibility to see that all preparations are complete for Cart-Away Concrete
System customer’s start-ups. Scotty has stood before city councils
on behalf of our customers to lobby and win approval for installations. He
has met with engineers to design special footing plans. And he has answered
countless questions from contractors that are doing the site work for
installations. Scotty is part of the extra value you receive when working
with
Cart-Away Supply.
